Requirements
Entry requirements
Admission into Iconic Open University for bachelor's degree does not require JAMB result, but candidates will be asked to get a JAMB regularisation number upon successful admission in order to be used for his/her NYSC at the time of graduation.
Our admission will be open to candidates with the requisite qualifications and subject to the fulfillment of guidelines that the university may determine.
The admission requirements into the undergraduate programmes of the University will be as follows:
Admission into the university is open to all, irrespective of religion, ethnic group, gender, creed and disability status.
Tier 11
Admissions into the Iconic University for bachelor's degree will be through the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) i.e. WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, NBAIS or any other foreign recognised equivalent certificate, National Diploma, NCE, & HND.
Tier 22
For admission to 100 Level, candidates must obtain five (5) credits at SSCE (or equivalent) in relevant subjects at not more than two sittings including credit passes in English and Mathematics.
Tier 33
For admission by direct entry (200 Level), candidates will, in addition to having five (5) SSCE credits, obtain at least two (2) A' level (or its equivalent) passes in relevant subjects, or possess in NCE, ND with credit passes, or possess a good bachelor degree in another field as the case may be. Candidates for B.Sc. Nursing Science must have a registered Nursing Certificate.
Tier 44
For admission by direct entry (300 Level), candidates with HND in related course will be admitted into 300 Level, while all other HND candidates will be admitted into 200 Level.
Tier 55
For admission by direct entry (400 Level top-up degree) candidates with good bachelor degree in related field will be admitted into the university to complete the remaining years for award of degree.

Mode of Study
How you will study
Iconic University conducts teaching and research through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) system. A system defined as an educational process in which a significant proportion of teaching is conducted by someone removed in space and/or time from the learners.
Full-time Online Mode
This is a solely online learning mode, which enables learner to sometime have virtual contact with tutors via the live stream classes. Students with computer literacy or ability to use smartphone effectively are recommended to this mode, which gives access to learn courses online, attempts tests, assignment, examinations, receive feedback, and make downloads of videos, audio, and text materials at any point in time..
Part-time Flexible Mode
It also allows working people to acquire knowledge, skills, and techniques which may be relevant to the present work situation or future career prospects. Iconic University, thus, provides people with the opportunity to improve their academic qualifications without giving up their jobs and without being removed from the domicile areas..
